Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most often.

Working With Raywise

Who do you typically work with?

We work with B2B companies and eCommerce brands that are past the early startup phase and ready to scale deliberately. Our clients are typically founders, CEOs, or senior growth leaders who want a trusted partner — not another vendor — to help them move faster and smarter.

How many clients do you take on at a time?

Deliberately few. We limit our client roster to ensure every engagement gets genuine senior-level attention. We are not an agency running 40 accounts in parallel. When you work with Raywise, you are a priority — not a line item.

What does an engagement look like?

Every engagement starts with a focused discovery conversation — no long onboarding questionnaires. From there, we agree on scope, priorities, and how we’ll work together. Some clients need a defined project with a clear deliverable. Others want an ongoing strategic partner they can call on regularly. We are flexible on structure; we are not flexible on results.

How quickly can we get started?

Fast. If there is a fit, we can typically begin within one to two weeks. We do not have a 30-day sales process. Reach out, have a conversation, and if it makes sense, we move.

Services

Do you do everything, or should I hire specialists?

Both, depending on what you need. We can act as the strategic layer that coordinates and directs specialists you already have, or we can run specific functions directly. We are not trying to replace your team — we are trying to make the whole system work better. Sometimes that means doing, sometimes it means directing, often it means both.

What is GEO and why does it matter now?

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization — the practice of optimizing your brand and content to appear in answers generated by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini, and others. Traditional SEO gets you into search result pages. GEO gets you into the AI-generated answers that an increasingly large share of your buyers are relying on instead. The window to build an early advantage here is still open — but it is closing. Companies that invest in GEO now will be significantly harder to displace in 12 months.

Can you manage our paid media campaigns directly?

Yes. We offer full media buying services across paid social (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest), search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads), and programmatic. We handle strategy, campaign build, creative direction, optimization, and reporting — with a performance-first approach focused on profitable return, not vanity metrics.

Do you work on one-off projects or ongoing retainers?

Both. Some clients come to us for a specific project — an operational audit, a media buying strategy, a GEO roadmap. Others want an ongoing partner who is embedded in the business. We will recommend whatever structure makes the most sense for your situation.

Pricing and Results

How do you price your services?

Pricing depends on scope, engagement type, and duration. We do not publish fixed packages because we do not believe in fitting clients into boxes. After an initial conversation, we will propose something specific to your situation — clearly scoped and straightforward to evaluate. No surprises.

How long until we see results?

It depends on what we’re working on. Operational improvements can show impact in weeks. Paid media campaigns typically need four to eight weeks to optimize. GEO and strategic partnerships operate on a longer horizon — three to six months for meaningful traction, but the compounding effect is significant. We are always clear upfront about what to expect and when.

What if it is not working?

We will tell you before you do. Honesty is foundational to how we operate. If something is not delivering the expected results, we diagnose why, adjust the approach, and communicate clearly. We are not in the business of billing for work that is not generating value.

Still have questions?

The fastest way to get answers is a direct conversation. No pitch, no pressure — just a straight talk about your business and whether we can help.
